Greetings, Earthlings!

Hello there everyone! How are you on this fine day? I can't believe all
of the options available on
Fortunecity-pretty awesome, eh?
Okay, maybe I should tell you a
little about myself, seeing as this is
my only "real" way to express
myself in a unique fashion in the
cyber-world:
I am a female (if you haven't
guessed already!), from Nova
Scotia, Canada, I live with my
mother, and 15 year old brother,
and I love my wonderfun
boyfriend, Benn, with all of my
heart ("wonderfun" is not a typo,
it's our "secret" language!) I am
almost done highschool forever
(YES!!), and next year I plan on
attending university to attain a
degree in psychology, with a
possible minor in either english or
history. Who knows...?!?

All About Me
|
Oh! You people are probably what
my interests and "stuff" are, so
maybe I should fill you in! I enjoy:
writing (poetry and short stories),
reading (Margaret Atwood, Alice
Walker, and whatever I happen to
pick up at the library or used
bookstore),
listening to music (everything from
Aerosmith, to Jewel, to Mozart),
learning the basics of new
languages (I speak French,
Spanish, and I can write a bit of
Esperanto, but I also want to learn
German and Russian),
anything to do with
history-especially Ancient
civilizations such as Egypt, Aztecs,
and also the reign of the
Romanovs in Russia during the
last 19th and early 20th century),
watching movies (this is where my
boyfriend and I differ because he is
basically
"videologically-challenged"-sorry
Benn!!)-my favourite films include:
"The Color Purple", "Ghost",
"Independence Day", "My Best
Friend's Wedding", and my new
fav., "Titanic"!
collecting such things as: angels,
suns, quotes, poetry, etc. are also
important to me...
I am also into comparative
religions, reincarnation, astrology,
the Chinese zodiac, dream
interpretations, and lots more...

My Beliefs
|
My Beliefs
After realizing that I am into
angels and astrology, most of you
probably thought I was off my
rocker, but I'm not...REALLY!!!
*L* Actually, I am not religious in
the slightest, and I am not really
into the paranormal aspect of life
(unlike my brother the sci-fi
freak..). I believe in angels in the
respect that I think they are
people, alive or deceased, who
help us cope with things that are
troubling us, and standing in the
way of our task(s) in life. These
tasks could be anything from
getting your homework down for
school to finding your soulmate
because priorities vary from
person to person...as the cliche
saying goes..."variety is the spice
of life"!
Many people touch our lives in
many different ways, and although
some may have more importance
than others at times, they are all
important in the long run. Have
you ever noticed how some people
seem to pop into your life at the
last moment, when you least
expect it, or a friend you haven't
seen in years comes knocking on
your door? This what I call "fate";
everything happens for a reason.
I think Benn and I are together
because of fate, but it's also more
than that-it's almost as if he is my
soulmate, so I really feel
comfortable in calling him my
Guardian Angel-I love him more
than mere words can describe, and
I trust him with my life. I hope he
reads this at some point because as
I am writing this, all I can think
about it him! *smiles*
